Kupwara : A one-day capacity building training programme under the Mission YUVA initiative was conducted on monday at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Kupwara.
The event, organized by the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Kupwara, saw the active participation of 50 officials from various departments, including the Labour and Employment Department, the Skill Development Department, and other ITIs in the region.
The training programme was held in the training hall of ITI Kupwara, where participants gained valuable insights into the objectives and implementation of Mission YUVA, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir through skill development and employment opportunities.
In his inaugural address, the Principal of ITI Kupwara extended a warm welcome to the participants and addressing the importance of Mission YUVA in shaping the future of youth in the town.
He highlighted how the initiative aims to enhance the employability and entrepreneurial skills of the youth, providing them with the tools necessary for a successful career.
The sessions were led by Arshad Qadir, Assistant Director of Employment, along with other resource persons from the Employment Department, DE&CC Kupwara, and the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).
The expert sessions provided in-depth knowledge about the goals of Mission YUVA and the resources available to support the region’s youth in skill development and career growth.
The event was well-received by the participants, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable information shared during the sessions.
