MLA Anantnag West reviews progress of works, listens to public grievances

ANANTNAG : Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Anantnag West Assembly Constituency, Abdul Majeed Bhat today reviewed the progress of works in Anantnag and Achabal CD Blocks and listened to the public grievances at Town Hall Achabal.
The review was attended by senior officers of the district including the Assistant Commissioner (Development) Anantnag, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Division Bijbehara, Executive Engineer R&B Division Vailo, Executive Engineer Irrigation Division Anantnag, Chief Agriculture Officer Anantnag, Concerned Tehsildar, Block Development Officers among others.
The MLA reviewed the progress of the developmental works and directed that people oriented works should be completed in a timely manner. He said that the development of his constituency is his top priority which can be achieved only with the coordination between the administration and the people.
The people of the area also raised demands with regards to developmental works and other pro-people facilities in the constituency. Some of these include upgradation of hospital facilities including USG facility, macadimization of roads, regular electricity and water supply, irrigation facilities, provision of cremation facilities for communities and provision of banking facilities etc.
The MLA took note of these demands and assured the people that the same shall be fulfilled on priority basis. He directed the concerned departments for their timely redressal.
