MLA Lolab Qayser Jamshaid Lone Conducts Surprise Visit to Receiving Station at Khumriyal

LOLAB : In response to escalating complaints about frequent power cuts especially from Putushai, Kanthpora, Dooniwari, Surigam, Khodi, Wavoora, Gagal and adjoining areas, MLA Lolab, Qayser Jamshaid Lone, conducted a surprise visit to the receiving station at Khumriyal. The unexpected visit aimed to gain an unfiltered understanding of the challenges faced by the facility and address the concerns of the residents.

During the inspection, the MLA reviewed the station’s operations and held on-the-spot discussions with the staff about the recurring issues. He expressed concern over the grievances and stressed the need for swift and effective measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the area.
He directed the staff to ensure power supply as per schedule so that people can take a sigh of relief.

Lone emphasized the importance of accountability and directed the concerned authorities to prioritize the maintenance and upgrade of infrastructure. The visit reflects his commitment to addressing public grievances promptly and ensuring better services for his constituency.
