MLA Sonawari, DC Bandipora visit Semi Ring Road Project site Shadipora to address public concerns

BANDIPORA : In a significant step towards addressing public grievances and expediting infrastructural development, Member of Legislative Assembly for Sonawari Constituency of Bandipora District Hilal Akbar Lone, along with Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, today visited under construction semi Ring Road project site Shadipora sumbal.
The visit was aimed to assess the progress of the project, address concerns raised by local residents, and ensure timely completion of the project.
During the visit, the MLA and Deputy Commissioner interacted with the locals to understand their grievances regarding land acquisition, compensation, and road connectivity.
The MLA emphasized the importance of the project in enhancing transportation, reducing traffic congestion, and boosting economic activities in the area.
He assured the public that their concerns would be addressed in coordination with NHAI and other concerned departments.
Qadri, while reviewing the progress of the project, emphasized the adherence to the deadlines while maintaining quality standards. He highlighted the administration’s commitment to resolve any pending issues in a transparent and time-bound manner.
During the visit, engineers and officials of NHAI briefed regarding completion timeline, challenges faced, and measures required to ensure smooth execution of the project.
MLA and Deputy Commissioner urged the officials to expedite the work while ensuring minimal inconvenience to the public. They assured continued engagement with the stakeholders to facilitate the seamless completion of the project.
SDM sumbal Murtaza Ahmad Sheikh and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
