Open Letter to (My) Teachers

Dear teachers,

We have a specific day when we celebrate our mother’s and father’s day. Today we celebrate another special person in our life, one that has just as much of an impact as every other member of our family. Today we celebrate the amazing human being that is universally known as a teacher. There is a reason why people all over the world have chosen one day to celebrate their teachers. It is because of the incredibly important influence that teachers like uh have on us, younger generations. I know that teachers are grossly underpaid for all they do. I honestly think that you can’t put a price tag on the hardwork you bring into our classroom every single day.

The amount of passion, heart, soul and effort you put into your job can’t be calculated with dollar amounts. And I know that you find your real compensation in how much your students succeed. Even the kindest word THANK YOU would be insufficient to express all my gratitude for you today, but trust me we wholeheartedly appreciate all of your hardwork and efforts every single day. Every year I look forward to this day to celebrate with you all. Times have changed and this year we are focused on celebrating this glorious day virtually with you. But I am sure that will not dampen our spirits in any way as the way in which you have shifted to online from in person teaching goes to prove that as teachers you can adapt to all situations in life when it comes to your profession.

The Quote: Absence makes the heart grow fonder is very true. After having passed out from Hamid Chara Army Goodwill family I feel that something I am missing out everyday where I have been HCAGW family for nearly 12 years. I have received a copious memories and life lessons from here. Every memory I cherish anytime. It brings a big smile to my face. Now at college I have been gifted with the finest set of teachers yet I still try to find my school teachers in them, such is the impact. The opportunities and responsibilities given to me, assuming I am competent, was your trust in me and your endeavours making me capable of handling challenges. For all the antics I perpetrated, I was acquainted with it once. But I was told a hundred times how I could harness my potential and compete yesterday.

Sometimes, you were the only person in my day who asked me how I was or what I was thinking or how I felt. I was blessed to have such an excellent set of teachers from Ist to 12th. I can go miles appreciating you all and still it would be less. It would be a waste of time to jot down adjectives to describe you. There is not any most suitable adjective till date.

Nevertheless, I want to thank you for everything I know and other things which you all worked in the background. You are the reason I am today.
