Similarity in thought process is the most important thing needed in marriage. Mental coherence may apparently seem like a tiny thing between couples and may most often be compromised for financial similarity. Usually, married couples become the victims of this lack of metal similarity since they get to know each other very little before marriage. Therefore, it won’t be wrong to say that the mental similarity of an arranged marriage couple rests in the hands of a coincidental miracle.

I have a strong belief that more similarity in thinking, beliefs, likes, and dislikes lessens the chances of unpleasant moments between couples. As you read this article, I want you to recall that moment when you sat with someone who had different interests than yours. Say you like discussing the philosophy of life, and the other person likes talking about life events like food, clothing, and so on. You won’t be interested in talking with that person, but you will just force yourself and compromise with yourself to talk to him just to make him feel good. It is easy to compromise for a while or a day, but you can’t compromise for your whole life. Compromise has a very short life; long compromises ultimately lead to conflicts.

Mental similarity comes into play at each moment between a married couple. For instance, if one partner likes rural life and the other likes urban life, won’t this lead to a conflict? If one partner wants their child to study at a certain school and the other wants to teach him at a different school, won’t this lead to a conflict? If the husband wants his wife to stay at home while the wife wants to work and be independent, won’t this lead to a conflict? Yes, it will lead to conflict, and in some cases, this conflict can lead to the destruction of marriage, called “divorce.” Some might think that there can be peaceful debate between partners. It is the debate that I’m calling a conflict. Because disagreement or argument is how conflict is defined in the simplest terms,.

In some cases, females tolerate this lack of understanding and lack of mental similarity for eternity because, in some cases, they aren’t being heard by their husbands. Having said this, it is quite difficult to discover our exact similarity for marriage. Even mirrors don’t show us our exact similar selves. Dissimilarities in the thought process will always be there, which can be compromised. Compromise is never as good as a consensus, but it is generally better than nothing. Having said this, I find myself seeing mental similarity as the major factor in happiness for married couples.
