Jammu and Kashmiris a popular travel destination for travellers from all over the world due to its natural beauty and attractive places. While Kashmir Valley is well-known for its lakes and plants, Jammu is famous for its temples.
Kashmir, also known as “Paradise on Earth,” is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, wildlife reserves, snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, cultural diversity, and world-famous pilgrimage sites, among other things. Kashmir is located in the heart of the Himalayas and is dubbed “Paradise on Earth” because of these attributes.
While residents of the nation and those from abroad take pleasure in Jammu and Kashmir’s beauty and relieve their hearts and minds of exhaustion, more employment prospects are created as a result of improved tourism. The better tourist season has benefited the average person in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as creating job prospects. As time goes on, Kashmir’s tourism industry becomes more and more significant. More than one crore tourists visited the valley in the previous year. Following the lifting of visa restrictions and some improvement in the security situation, the Kashmirvalley is drawing record numbers of tourists, boosting local businesses.
Recently, the Indian government included border regions to the tourism map that has given people countless opportunities to make a living. TheBangus valley in the kupwara region of north kashmir has a great deal of potential to offer the kashmiri youth a variety of options both in the summer and the winter. It is crucial that sporting activities in Kashmir continue through the winter months. Similar to this, Gurez valley might host such activities, and its residents could participate in a variety of tourist-related activities provided that the government develops the necessary infrastructure to support the region’s burgeoning tourism industry.
Visitors have begun to visit the border regions in the valley. The bangus valley, which is located in the kupwara region of north kashmir, has a tremendous potential to offer the kashmiri youth a variety of options both in the summer and the winter. However, the present focus should draw upon vacation spots, the places indicated above. Despite only concentrating on primitive tourist destinations, these areas require the government of jammu and kashmir’s attention in order to become perfect tourist destinations.
Many people visit various locations in the Kashmir valley from all across the nation and the world. Numerous thousands of people travelled to Kashmir’s border regions from other parts of the nation. One of the best camping and hiking areas in the kulgam district is badibehk, which has the magnificent sundartop peak to its southeast. Less than 3 km of non-motorable distance separates it from walinar and district headquarters kulgam, respectively, by 36 km.Every visitor is drawn in by the meadows entrancing beauty and becomes addicted. The secular fabric of jammu and kashmir is demonstrated by the clash of two opposing philosophies on the same plot of land. As an example of district kulgam these places portray kashmir’s picturesque, tranquil destinations are undiscovered and pristine.
Going forward, the tourist industry seems to be one of our main economic drivers. Kashmir is not just about natural beauty; it also has the unmatched potential to be the top adventure sports destination, and this alone has the power to alter its young population. However, this transformation can only occur if the tourism industry is prioritised and people are encouraged to support it.
