In recent years, we witnessed an influx of non-local labourers who have been contributing significantly to the local economy. Despite the isolated cases of violence, Kashmir has become a safe place for non-locals to work and live, with the government taking elaborate measures to ensure their security. Non-local labourers play an important role in various sectors of the Kashmiri economy. From agriculture to construction, these individuals bring in diverse skills and contribute to the overall growth and development of Kashmir. The presence of non-local labourers has not only boosted the productivity and efficiency of industries & other allied sector but has also created employment opportunities for the local population.

These individuals work in sectors such as horticulture, handicrafts, and tourism, which are vital sources of revenue for us . Their hard work and dedication have helped in the expansion of these industries, attracting more tourists and generating higher income for the local community. The presence of non-local labourers in Kashmir has led to the creation of numerous job opportunities for the local population. As these labourers engage in various economic activities, they require support services such as transportation, accommodation, and food. This has led to the establishment of small businesses and enterprises, providing employment to the local residents. Our torisms industry is depended on them.
In light of recent incidents of violence against members of minority communities, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has taken elaborate security measures to address the concerns of non-local labourers and ensure their safety. The isolated cases of violence are meant to develop a void between us and our fellow citizens. Jammu and Kashmir is just like any other part of the country. Law has not barred any individual to earn to work in any part of the country. Thousands of Kashmiris are working outside the union territory and earing their livelihood for which they are legally entitled. In similar way other citizens of the country come here and work. Their should be no discrimination on the basis of identity. Law is equal and it provides equal opportunities to every citizen in every part of the country without any discrimination.

Administration conduct regular visits to migrant colonies and accommodations to assess the situation and address any potential risks. The administration has emphasized that no migrant employee or non-local laborer needs to leave the Valley. This step aims to create a conducive environment for non-local labourers to work without fear and apprehension. The government has instructed officials to identify the non-migrant minority population, labourers, and skilled workers in all districts. Adequate security measures have be put in place for these individuals, and regular interactions are conducted to address any concerns they may have. This proactive approach aims to build trust and foster a sense of security among non-locals. The recent killings of members of minority communities in Kashmir have raised concerns about human rights and the safety of non-local labourers. It is essential to emphasize that terrorism has no place in a peaceful society, and innocent killings go against the principles of Islam and humanity.
