Opinion | School Chale Hum

As the weather looks  unprecedented, temperature feels apparent,vacation comes near to end, we are embracing new academic year with lot of flexibilities due to introduction of NEP 2020.Children thronging in market procuring new garments, school bags and other essential.Countless happiness and joy depicts on the innocent face of children and parents, to commence new academic session with lot of hope and expectations.

  Children clad in school uniform and their giggling offers a poignant experience.Some may be preparing for pre-board examination at their cozy places, others may be joining for NEET, IIT, JEE and other examinations with pre-determined goals. The scenario looks quite amazing in Kashmir as and when the vacations comes to an end. The bustling markets with schools buses, scooties, bicycles etc reflect a pleasurable experience all around.

School chalay hum term was pioneered by late Atal Behari Vajpayee in early 2000.This song became the regularity on both radio and television sets. Later it became TV add campaign;

Back to school testimonies the charm and overwhelmed joy on the cute faces of children.Students feel excited to meet their friends and teachers on the first day of their school.It is quite evident that parents themselves can be nervous about the first day of school, especially if they are seeing their little one off for the first time or if their child is going to a new school.Back to school after the gap of three months stands a unique and charming scenario for every school going children. As I recall my school days we used to keep every thing in a ready mode before school opens, we felt charmed, joyous, contented and  above all the beginning of new year. Another thing that still echoes in our mind the, waiting at a particular point and marching in groups before entering in school ground.

As schools are going to open for children on the first March 2024,calender of activities have been already formulated by state government like, welcome day celebration, Clean and green campus, conduct of enrollment drive, setting up of academic calendar etc. As the new academic session introduced, the initial days of schooling is gearing up for the summative assessment of different classes.

Undoubtedly the prime responsibility onus on the teachers to keep the school and it’s surroundings in good looking atmosphere to captivate the students and feel them a home like situation.Distrubtion of candies and chocolates should be held in schools on first day for new learners. This can trigger boost in increasing the enrollment in government schools at foundational stage. There are fewer responsibility upon the teachers to guide the students and parents about the benefits of new academic session, the ambiguity must be eliminate among them. If we focus on future with zeal and zest nothing can stop us in excelling in our future endeavors.

To sum up, first day of school is sheer delight for all of us to begin it with fortitude, hard work, persistence, and sincerity. It is a great day to work to pledge, to work sincerely. The profession of teaching is not only prophetic but most respectable aa well.
