Why is snow important in Kashmir?

Literally snow is the solid form of warmth. Countries that lie in the northern parts of the world receive snowfall. In Kashmir there are several rivers like lidder river in Pahalgam, Shaliganag in Doodhpathri, doodhganga in yousmarg, and waterfalls. The main source of all these rivers, canals are the glaciers. Glacies are the snow covered mountains that cater water to rivers, for drinking purposes, and keeps the surrounding during summers cold and charming. Snow keeps the soil moisture and has immense benefits.

Best season of snowfall in kashmir.

From the arrival of winters to mid chilai kalan, snowfall might play an important role. snowfall should happen in the starting of January then it keeps for a longer time. The harsh cold season starts from the 21^st of December to 31 of January. But we should never lose our hopes. The Almighty has the best plans for humanity and knows what is better and what is not. So we are predicting things, discussing them as per the scientific facts and ect. Snow is not important only in winters. Snow plays a great role in Kashmir for all the four seasons. So snow has great importance and attracts thousands of tourists.

Spring: During spring looks like lush green, flowers everywhere in the gardens look so winsome. Spring starts from 21^st of March to 21^st of June. During spring Tulip gardens is one of the immense attractions for the local tourists and from all over the world. Mughal gardens like nishat, Shalimar, harvan, pari mahal, chesh ma shahi, botanical gardens look mesmerising, lavishing, charming, and sensuous.

We still have lost nothing. Let’s pray together and I hope almighty Allah will bless us with favourable and beneficial snowfall that we have been waiting for the last couple of months. Prays are so valuable and powerful we should never lose hope and hope for the best results. I hope we will see fresh snowfall soon. Snow covers the whole surface in Kashmir and looks like it is painted with white.

For the last couple of decades the impact of environmental related issues can be observed in Kashmir valley as. Like increase in temperature, more rainfall during June and july. Dryness in winters, now less rainfall in March and April. This is quite alarming and we have to keep things in consideration that we have preserved all the natural treasuries like forests in a very good position. Forests play a necessary role in climate. When there are adequate forests we have good and favourable seasons.
