Pension Adalat held at Town Hall Kupwara

KUPWARA : A Pension Adalat was today organized by the office of Accountant General (A&E) J&K in collaboration with District Treasury Office Kupwara at Town Hall, here.

The Pension Adalat was presided over by Deputy Accountant General, Sudhakar Pinglay in presence of District Treasury Officer Kupwara, Mohammad Shafi Wani, DDOs and a large number of pensioners.

On the occasion, the Deputy Accountant General along with his team of officers patiently heard the issues /grievances of pensioners/family pensioners and pension sanctioning authorities/DDOs and resolved several issues on the spot.

Earlier, a detailed question-answer session was held in the Town Hall during which various pension related queries of the pensioners were answered by the experts of the Finance department.
