Pensioners can submit certificates digitally: FD

The Finance Department today ordered that all pensioners/family pensions having valid Adhaar card can submit their life certificates digitally .
“The pensioners can download the Jeevan Pramaan Windows and Android client software from Jeevan Pramaan website. The client software will take care of registration for the life certification, for authentication it will use the Aadhaar biometric authentication platform,” an order issued by the Finance Department said.
It added that pensioners will have to download UMANG App from Google play store/App store and search Jeevan Pramaan and then click on “Generate Life Certificate. Pensioner Authentication page will open and required information has to be fed for generation of Digital Life Certificate.(Daily Excelsior)
