Police Martyr’s Memorial Sports Festival kick started at Kupwara

A mega Sports festival was kick started by District Police Kupwara at DPL Kupwara to commemorate the Supreme sacrifices of Police Martyrs. The sports festival was formally inaugurated by SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas in presence of ASP Kupwara Pardeep Singh and other officers, officials, sports lovers and sports persons of the District. In the different sports events being organised in the festival, sportspersons will display their talent in diffrent sports like Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi and other  games. The venue of the tournament is DPL ground Kupwara.

SSP Kupwara while interacting with the players encouraged them with positive thoughts in order to boost their confidence. He stated that Jammu & Kashmir Police and Police Kupwara is committed to promote sports and other Youth Development Activities in the area to channelize the youth potential in positive manner. He further stated that sports activities are important for personality development, positivity, good health and sense of achievement.The tournament will last till October 31,2021.
