Meet 30-year-old Daanish Zaffar of Anantnag, whose love for the sketch is unending. His passion for this art is unrivalled.
The young IT professional told Global Kashmir that he started his career as an IT professional and is now working as a technical consultant in one of the big four organizations, KPMG.
He said, “As far as sketching or drawing is concerned, he had this hobby from his childhood only; since he was in class 3, Zaffer always used to see his cousin Aadil Hussain drawing beautiful paintings, so he got inspired from him and started drawing from a very young age, which turned out to be my hobby till today.”
When asked how he got interested in fitness, the 30-year-old said, “He got interested in fitness from his college.” He used to be very lean and thin, so he always wanted to gain weight and some muscles so that he could look fit and healthy both internally and externally.
He continued that as soon as he completed his B.tech in Computer Science and shifted to Bangalore for his job, he started going to the gym there and started his fitness journey from there. He then did various certifications like a diploma in diet planning and became a certified fitness trainer, and he also started his own health and fitness blog, https://www.fitnessbydaanish.com, and also started writing answers on Quora with regards to health and fitness, for which he has more than 580k+ views on his answers.
I also trained in various gyms in Bangalore and also provided diet plans for various clients for weight loss, weight gain, etc.
When asked how he manages both his profession and his hobby, he said, “As I love doing both of these and am enthusiastic about them, I manage doing both of them in parallel, like if I have a holiday or on weekends, I do paintings, drawings, and sketches, and I also regularly write fitness blogs on my website.”
I am also a certified graphic designer and also work as a freelance designer. I have worked for various organisations as a graphic designer and illustrator.
So far Daanish has received numerous awards and certificates for his art, fitness, and design work, including Rahgeer’s calligraphy and painting contest in the sketch category, the Indian Art Contest at the national level, for which he received a certificate of appreciation and a medal, the Graphic Designing End to End Professional Certification, the Professional Graphic Designing Certification, and others.
