Lolab : Sub-division Lolab celebrated the 75th Republic day with great fervor and enthusiasm.Despite unfavorable weather conditions, a large number of people turned up to celebrate this momentous day.
The event began with flag hoisting by Chief Guest Aijaz Ahmad Bhat SDM Lolab followed by the National Anthem.Thereafter students of the different schools added grace to the event by putting up a wonderful and resplendent variety of programs including patriotic songs, Kashmiri Rouffe, Pahari Song and Martial Arts to cherish this special day.
Officials across sub-division joined the event with enthusiasm and energy.
The guests on the occasion included Tehsildar Sogam, BMO Sogam, Principal GDC Sogam, Exn R&B Sogam ZEO Khumriyal, Principal, SHO PS Sogam Naib Tehsildar Sogam, Staff members of GDC Sogam, CDPO Sogam and Wavoora, Principal AGS Krusan and TSO Sogam.
Apart from administrative officials, a large number of people attended the event in great fervor.
While talking to the media, the efforts of the organizing committee and the participants, particularly students and teachers for adding colours to the event were acknowledged and appreciated.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Lolab Aijaz Ahmad Bhat extended his gratitude to everyone who showed up in the event with great enthusiasm.
