Bandipora : Reactivating the old tradition of arranging the mass entertainment shows, the Shawl sons Group monday organised a mega circus shows in ground Kaloosa in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
These shows were re-organized after an interval of about many years.
Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq along with Naib Tehsildars Abdul Rashid and Mohammad Ashraf inaugrated the mela.
After enjoying the event, the local Bandiporians here recalled past peaceful days while watching a circus performance after almost five years.
“Such events are a memory of peaceful days here for the locals but as the situation is improving day by day and silent mega circus events are slowly taking pace and are being held again in Bandipora district after a long gap, is a welcome step and it which will be beneficial for different walks of life in many ways and reasons,” said one of the excited spectator.
Meanwhile, the new generation especially kids had a wonderful time as many of them had witnessed such an event for the first time in their lives.
“We will continue to organise such programs in near future and for that we need local support for the continuation of the same. Apart from all these there will be artificial boating and swings for children besides stalls for eatables,” said Altaf Ahmad the organizer.
