The discussion primarily focused on Nagi’s recent visit to Jammu & Kashmir UT, where she interacted with various minority communities and contributed to uplifting their voices.

As part of the meeting, Nagi expressed her gratitude by presenting Minister Rijiju with a beautifully handcrafted shawl, crafted by talented women from Studio Saksham, a rural Kashmir-based initiative promoting local craftsmanship. The shawl embodies the essence of Vocal for Local and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, two important initiatives aimed at supporting indigenous craftsmanship and empowering rural artisans.

Additionally, Nagi gifted Minister Rijiju her book, The Slum Queen, as a symbol of her ongoing commitment to highlighting stories of resilience and empowerment.

“Meaningful conversations like these lay the foundation for turning words into action. I truly appreciate the time and wisdom shared by Minister Rijiju. Our discussions will help shape further collaborations and initiatives for the betterment of minority communities,” Nagi shared after the meeting.

This interaction also highlights the dedication of the Misaal Mumbai, Rouble Nagi Art Foundation to fostering partnerships that support marginalized communities. The Foundation’s work continues to make a significant impact in empowering individuals through art, culture, and social outreach.

The meeting between Nagi and Rijiju marks a promising step toward future collaborations aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of minority communities in Jammu & Kashmir and across India.
