Kupwara :  District President of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Sahil Bashir, extended heartfelt congratulations to Mohd Shafi Rather on his appointment as Chairman of the Teachers Forum.
Mohd Shafi Rather, a veteran teacher and trade union leader, has been an inspiration for both teachers and students. His dedication, passion, and selfless service to the teaching profession have earned him admiration across the education community.
As a teacher, Rather has guided countless students with his wisdom, patience, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on young minds. As a trade union leader, he has been a tireless advocate for teachers’ rights, significantly contributing to the welfare and dignity of the teaching fraternity in Jammu and Kashmir.
JKTF members expressed confidence in his ability to lead with wisdom and compassion. His new role as Chairman is expected to strengthen the Teachers Forum and inspire a new generation of educators.
The JKTF family, including District Executive members Muneer Ahmad Khan, Farooq Ahmad Wani, Dr. Abdullah, Rayaz Mahmood Kalgan, Syed Javid Masroor, Mohd Amin Wani, Abdur Rehman, Iqbal Showkat, Mohd Hussain Sheikh, Atir Hussain, Irshad Ahmad, Altaf Hussain Bhat, Aitaf Abdullah Khan, Gh Mustafa, Gh Mohd Sheikh, Gh Rasool Bhat, Irshad Ahmad Ganie, Ankur Pandita, Sandeep Raina, Asif Shaheen, Hilal Ahmad War, Parwaz Sunullaha, Umar Farooq, Gh Mouhdin Mir, Tariq Ahmad, Ahsanul Haq, Mohd Iqbal, and Mohd Ashraf, along with Zonal Presidents Gh Mohd Masalla (Rajwar), Ashiq Hussain Khan (Langate), Ab Rashid Mir (Villagam), Altaf Hussain (Chamkote), Ab Rashid Lone (Drugmulla), Nazir Ahmad Lone (Kralpora), Gh Hassan War (Handwara), Kursheed Ahmad Bhat (Mawar), Zahoor Ahmad Wani (Khumrayal), Bashir Ahmad Lone (Kupwara), and Mohd Yousaf Ganie (Sogam), conveyed their warmest congratulations to Mohd Shafi Rather.
The members expressed their best wishes for his leadership in shaping the future of education in the region.
