Secretary RDD visits Kupwara, take review meeting with officers, inspects Amritsarovars, SBM- G

Kupwara : Secretary, Rural Development Department(RDD), Tariq Ahmad Zargar today visited Kupwara district, and convened a meeting of Officers and Engineers of Kupwara district to review the progress of on different RDD schemes and programmes.

Secretary, RDD reviewed MGNREGA, CD-Pyts, Mission Amritsarovar and SBM-G phase- 2 and other schemes at Mini Meeting Hall of DC Office.

While reviewing MGNREGA, Secretary RDD gave clear cut instructions to the concerned officers for ensuring completion of all the ongoing works before the end of fiscal year.

Tariq Ahmad Zargar then visited Hiri Qadirabad block where he inspected the cleanliness and other SBM- G initiatives at Hiri- A Panchayat which along with other panchayats of the district have been declared as ODF Plus and shortlisted for SSG 2023 Award.
Tariq Ahmad later visited Sogam Block where he inspected Amrit Sarovar at Lalpora.
He also interacted with PRIs and locals.
Secretary was accompanied by ACD Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir, EXen REW Kupwara and other officers.
