Senior NC Leader’s son Hilal Rather joins PC.

Sajad welcomes him in party, says PC has arrived.

Srinagar: Hilal Ahmad Rather, the son of a senior NC politician and former Finance Minister, formally joined the People’s Conference on Saturday at the residence of Sajad Gani Lone on Church Lane in Srinagar.
While addressing the media, People’s Conference party president Sajad Lone announced the addition of Rather to the party folds, saying that People’s Conference has arrived and will conquer it for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“I formally welcome Hilal in the party”, he said.

When questioned if Hilal Rather consulted his father before joining the People’s Conference, he said that he has always had the freedom to make his own decisions in life and is pleased to have made the decision to join the Lone today.
