Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, was the chief guest at the camp which offered young minds a mix of adventure, learning, and teamwork.

The camp, themed ‘Empowering Youth, Building Leaders’ focused on teaching vital life skills, teamwork, and a sense of community responsibility. Participants took part in outdoor adventures, skill workshops, and team-building activities.

The camp created an ideal environment for connecting with nature and teaching important scouting principles. Emphasizing holistic development, it aimed to nurture physical fitness, mental agility, and social awareness.

During the camp, led by Ghulam Mohammad Lone, the former Chief Education Officer of Bandipora/Baramulla and National Awardee, along with the Vice President of Bharat Scouts and Guides Bandipora District Secretary and Scout Masters of District Bandipora, scouts and guides learned vital survival skills, practiced first aid, and engaged in environmental conservation projects.

The activities aimed to build resilience, self-confidence, and a sense of service.

Beyond skill-building, the camp highlighted cultural exchange, bringing together scouts and guides from diverse backgrounds to celebrate differences. Traditional events, talent shows, and cultural exchanges showcased India’s rich heritage, promoting mutual respect and understanding.
