SSR of electoral rolls-2023 reviewed at Handwara

KUPWARA : On the directions of Deputy Commisioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray who is District Election officer (DEO) Kupwara district, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of all the Supervisors and BLOs of Sub division Handwara at Environmental Hall Handwara today.
The ADC took a detailed review of the progress achieved under updation of votes in assembly segments of Handwara sub division.
ADC directed concerned to speed up the process so that no eligible voter is left out unregistered.
ADC further directed all the officials that any negligence on part of any official will be viewed seriously and action as warranted under rules would follow.
Tehsildar Handwara; Shahbaz Ah Akhoon, Tehsildar Ramhall ; Firdous Ahmed Qadri and District Election Trainer; Syed Najam Saqib were also present in the meeting.
