Kupwara: The Team Red NGO organized a Medical Camp themed Health For All in the remote areas of frontier region of Kalaroos.

Speaking about the medical camp, Team Red Chairman Saadat Nasir Wani Sogami said that the camp is a small contribution we in our team believe can create a great impact on someone’s life. “We therefore thought about organizing a free multi speciality health camps across geographies, making our first stop in the remotest hamlets of Kalaroos. The medical facilities provided at the camp includes a thorough check up by doctors, distribution of free medicines. These timely interventions provide early diagnosis and treatment reducing the incidence of morbidity and mortality. Such health camps address immediate health care needs of the marginalized communities. We have team of Prominent senior doctors was formulated by Team Red Health Wing. First such initiative with such prominent doctors being brought to Kalaroos area of District Kupwara,”he said.
During the medical camp our team of doctors screened the general patients. Free medicines were provided.
The local public hailed and appreciated the efforts of our team, who have been camping in the remote region for days altogether.
Meantime the Patron Team Red Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami visited the Medical Camp venue and took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients. He interacted with the locals/patients, and appreciated the efforts of Team Red Kupwara Members.
Doctors Included, Dr. Naveed Nazir Shah (HOD CD Hospital), Dr. Sheikh Burhan (Consultant Cardiology Medanta Hospital), Dr. Abdul Rashid Mir (Ex. HOD Radiogiagnosis SKIMS), Dr. Asif (Dept. of Orthopedics), Dr. Irum Akhun (Consultant Gynacologist, Ex Registrar LD Hosp.), Dr. Ifra N, Dr. Imtiyaz Magray (Faxiomaxillary surgeon GDC sgr) and Dr. Ashiq Rashid (AGS & Health Team Red).
Team Members included Aaliya Amin (AGS), Humaan Javed (Public Relations Head), Zubair Azad (ES), Isra Wani (Women’s Wing Head), Farhat Latif (Health Wing Dy. Head), Aaliya Hameed (event mgt), Taahir Wani (Verification Officer), Sajid Wani (Spokesperson), Misbah Rather (Orphan & Oldage), Ubaid Javed (I/C Inventory), Wariq Wani (Media Head), Iqbal Wani, Munsif Hilal, Unain Mir, Mohsin Aijaz, Souban Wani, Neeloar Yousf, Ishrat Saqi, Insha Bashir, Athar Rasool, Basit Wani (Students Wing), Parvaiz Sheikh, Bilal Mir, Rizwan Mir and others.
