Team Red Undergoes Organizational Restructuring

Srinagar : Team Red (NGO) has undertaken an organizational restructuring based on results of an inter-team election held on sunday. The restructuring aims to streamline operations and better serve the organization’s goals.
Several new positions have been restructured, including Additional General Secretaries, Deputy General Secretaries, Advisers, Heads and Deputy Heads of various departments and wings such as Health, Sports, Donation & Relief, Women’s Wing and Environment. Additionally, administrative posts like Administrative Officer, Finance & Records, Regulatory Compliance Officer and Spokespersons have been reintroduced.
Zonal heads for North, Central and South Kashmir as well as District Heads for Kupwara, Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal have also been appointed. Block-wise heads for Kupwara Town, Hyhama, Kalaroos, Dragmulla, Hatmullah and Sogam have also come into place.
The restructuring allows us to decentralize operations for greater efficiency and speedier decision making,” said Saadat Nasir Wani Sogami, Chairman of Team Red. “We are confident that with this new organizational structure, Team Red will be better positioned to serve our members as well as the larger community we are dedicated to empowering.
The Chairman and General Secretary thanked all members who participated enthusiastically in the inter-team elections to determine the new office bearers. He expressed confidence that the mix of fresh faces and experienced hands will infuse the organization with new energy and purpose.
The results were as follows
Based on the election results-
Dr. Ashiq Rashid, Aaliya Amin Wani, Shakir Shafi and Isra Wani were elected as Additional General Secretaries.
Jahangir Mir, Malik Amir, Maqsood Rather and Sajid Farooq Wani secured Deputy General Secretary positions.
Umar Farooq Malik (Babar) and Farhat Latif Wani will serve as Advisers.
In Administrative Posts, Zahid Moon was made Administrative Officer, Ubaid Syeed – Finance & Records, Chalkoo Misba – Regulatory & Compliance Officer, and Humaan Javed – Staff Officer to Chairman.
The Spokespersons elected were Adv. Umar Malik and Iqra Syed
In the Executive wings, Farhat Wani will head Health with Dr. Zubair and Zahir Gaffar as Deputies; Sports will be led by Nissar Hussain alongwith Aijaz Hassan and Kaiser Mir as deputies; Aabid Mohammad Ganaie will lead Donations and Relief with Basit Amin and Athar Rasool as deputies; Shayista Gaffar will head the Women’s Wing with Misba Chalkoo and Neelofar Khan as her deputies; and Faiq Wani will lead Environment with Hamid Malik and Neelofar Khan as his deputies.
Similarly for Administrative Wings, The Media wing will be headed by Wariq Wani with Zahid Pir and Tajreyan Wani as his deputies. Heading Public Relations is Humaan Bhat with Khalil Ur Rehman and Faisal Mir as deputies. Event Management will be led by Sofi Mushtaq and supported by deputies Aaliya Hameed and Sajid Wani. For Verification, Hamid Malik will serve as the head and work with deputies Aadil Dar and Ishfaq Wani. Finally, Ubaid Javed is positioned as head of Inventory wing with Tahir Wani and Iqbal Wani assisting him as deputies.
Zonal Leadership:
At zonal levels, North Kashmir will be represented by Malik Amir as head and Faisal Mir as his deputy. For Central Kashmir, Irfan Wani has been elected head with Misbah Rather serving as deputy. South Kashmir responsibilities have gone to Ubaid Syeed as zonal head and Dr. Zubair Rashid as deputy head.
District Leadership:
Kupwara district will be headed by Jahangir Mir along with deputies Parvaiz Sheikh. For Srinagar district, Adnan Farried will serve as district head supported by deputy Faraaz Qadri. In Budgam, Ronaq Rasheed emerged district head with Shair Ali and Mumtaza elected as his deputies. Finally, Anwar Ali will lead team red in Ganderbal district with Iqra Syed as his deputy.
Block Leadership (Kupwara):
Multiple block in-charges were elected for five blocks in Kupwara. This includes Zahid Pir as In-charge (IC) and Irfan Kohli as Additional IC for Kupwara town block. Ishfaq Wani is block IC for Hyhama while Aabid Mohammad is IC and Aadil Dar as AIC for Kalaroos block. Khalil Ur Rehman is the elected IC for Dragmulla block. Finally, Bilal Mir is IC and Suhail War as AIC for Hatmullah and Taahir Wani is positioned as IC for Sogam block.
