Thana Divas Held Across District Kupwara

Kupwara : In line with the directives from the senior formations to strengthen police-public relations and address the grievances of the public effectively, Thana Divas was observed today across District Kupwara at various police stations and posts. Senior police officers actively participated in the event to interact with the public and address their concerns.

At Police Station Trehgam, the event was presided over by GM Bhat-JKPS, Additional Superintendent of Police Kupwara, who attentively listened to public grievances and assured timely redressal of their issues.
At Police Station Lalpora, DySP PC Lolab Raeis Ahmad-JKPS represented the district police. He emphasized the commitment of Kupwara Police to maintaining law and order and ensuring swift responses to public concerns.
At Police Post Bazaar, Syed Mujahid-ul-Haq-JKPS, DySP DAR Kupwara, attended the event and interacted with local residents, reaffirming the police’s focus on community-oriented policing.
At Police Station Karnah, DySP Hqrs Kupwara Rafee Rather-JKPS chaired the event, engaging with local representatives and the public to resolve their grievances and ensure better coordination.

During the events, issues raised by the public ranged from law and order concerns to developmental issues. The officers assured the public that all legitimate concerns would be addressed promptly in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The public appreciated the efforts of Kupwara Police in organizing these events and expressed their satisfaction with the platform for voicing their concerns.
