Thana Diwas held at Qalamabad, Handwara, Vilgam, Kralgund and Langate

Handwara : Today on May 11th 2023, Handwara Police organised Thana Diwas at Qalamabad , Vilgam, Handwara, Kralgund and Langate.

The programmes were conducted by concerned SDPOs, SHOs and ICPP. The events were attended by senior citizens, civil society members, members of the trading community, among others.

The main focus of the events remained on issues pertaining to drug abuse, moral and social crime, use and misuse of social media. The participants were forthcoming in their suggestions against drug peddling, addiction and social crimes. The participants were, in turn, advised to identify early signs of drug addiction among their family and acquaintances. They were also advised to monitor the use of social media by minors in the interests of their moral and physical health.
