Great books carry great words: The story of Manu scripts!
… And be patient in adversity: for, verily, God is with those who are patient in adversity. (Holy Quran)! Manu scripts do matter but some little kids( for me they are writing the same matters a lot
‘ The line we had at our disposal was that a Hajin Girl Arbeen Tahir writes menu script of Quran-i-Shareef in 6 months by hand on  900
Hundred Pages!’
‘That indeed was something to a pilgrims journey’!
We thought that we should undertake it and once we duo decide then we do but in our own way!’ May not be perfect but it cannot be imperfect!
Arbeen  Tahir hailing from Syed Mohalla, Hajin village  of North Kashmir’s  Bandipora district, wrote a manual script of Qur’an-e-Shareef in six months by hand on nine hundred pages, and made her parents proud.
-Arbeen Tahir daughter of Tahir Ahmed Parray!’ Studying in 12th class at Govt higher secondary school Hajin Bandipora. Small age dreams of big things but big things can only
begin with small beginnings!’ Well begun is already half done Arbeen!
‘Manu scripts of Quran have a history and before writing this one I went through what was available to my eyes and somethings’ I did note down!
The first thing that struck me was, Hijazi manuscripts: Hijazi manuscripts are some of the earliest forms of Quranic texts, and can
be characterized by Hijazi script. Hijazi script is distinguished by its informal, sloping Arabic script. The most widely used Qurans were
written in the Hijazi style script, a style that originates before Kufic style script. This is portrayed by the rightward inclining of
the tall shafts of the letters, and the vertical extension of the letters. Most surviving leaves represent a Quran that is preserved in various fragments, the largest part of which are kept in the Bibliotheque nationale de France, as BNF Arabe 328(ab). Forty-six leaves are held at the National Library of Russia and one each in the Vatican Library and in the Khalili Collection of Islamic Art.
‘Sanaa manuscript: The Sanaa palimpsest) or Sanaa Quran is one of the oldest Quranic manuscripts in existence. Part of a sizable cache of Quranic and non-Quranic fragments discovered in Yemen during a 1972 restoration of the Great Mosque of Sanaa, the manuscript was identified as a palimpsest Quran in 1981 as it is written on parchment
and comprises two layers of text. The upper text largely conforms to the standard ‘Uthmanic’ Quran in text and in the standard order of chapters (suwar, singular sūrah), whereas the lower text (the original text that was erased and written over by the upper text, but can still be read with the help of ultraviolet light and computer processing) contains many variations from the standard text, and the sequence of its chapters corresponds to no known Quranic order. A partial reconstruction of the lower text was published in 2012, and a reconstruction of the legible portions of both lower and upper texts of the 38 folios in the Sana’a House of Manuscripts was published in 2017 utilising post-processed digital images of the lower text. A
radiocarbon analysis has dated the parchment of one of the detached leaves sold at auction, and hence its lower text, to between 578 CE
(44 BH) and 669 CE (49 AH) with a 100% accuracy.
‘In Muslim tradition the Quran is the final revelation from God, Islam’s divine text, delivered to the Islamic prophet Muhammad through the angel Jibril (Gabriel). Muhammad’s revelations were said to have
been recorded orally and in writing, through Muhammad and his followers up until his death in 632 CE (Christ Era). These revelations
were then compiled by first caliph Abu Bakr and codified during the reign of the third caliph Uthman[ (. 644–656 CE) so that the standard codex edition of the Quran or Muṣḥaf was completed around 650 CE,
according to Muslim scholars. This has been critiqued by some western scholarship, suggesting the Quran was canonized at a later date, based on the dating of classical Islamic narratives, i.e. hadiths, which were written 150–200 years after the death of Muhammad, and partly because of the textual variations present in the Sana’a manuscript. With the discovery of earlier manuscripts which conform to the Uthmanic standard however, the revisionist view has fallen out of favor and been described as ‘untenable;,with western scholarship generally supporting the classical Muslim view.

‘ While talking with media  Arbeen ‘said ‘that Allamdullah and I have written Quran-e-Shareef with my own hand in just six months. ‘It was my childhood dream to write Quran-e- Shareef by hand, and Alhudulliah,
I finished writing the compelete Quran-e- Shareef on  nine hundred pages in six months . Great job done kid!

‘But the story of manuscripts does not finish here, it cannot!’ The reason is something bigger like, ‘and give full measure whenever you measure, and weigh with a balance that is true: this will be [for your own] good, and best in the end…… Holy Quran 17:35! Trust me it
pays you more!
‘Say: The evil and the good are not alike even though the plenty of the evil attract thee. So be mindful of your duty to GOD, O! men of
understanding, that ye (you) may succeed….. ― Holy Quran 5:100!’
Arbeen said initially that she started the calligraphy work only to improve his handwriting. She started with a chapter of the Quran and found joy by doing so following which he decided to finish calligraphy
of the entire Quran. I mentioned it earlier n this story that small things are just the beginning if the aim is big! I think I was never wrong! But manuscripts of the Holy compendium has a bigger history down the eras!

One is in Topkapi Palace Museum, Istanbul, Turkey. It is traditionally attributed to Uthman Ibn Affan (d. 656). Similar illuminations can be found in the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus and other Umayyad monuments. The size of this manuscript is 41 cm x 46 cm. It contains more than 99% of the text of the Quran. With only two pages (23 verses) lacking, this manuscript is the closest to the complete text of the Quran. Mehmed Ali Pasha, Governor of Egypt, sent this manuscript to the Ottoman
Sultan Mahmud II as a gift in the 19th century (CE).

The Birmingham Quran manuscript is a parchment on which two leaves of an early Quranic manuscript are written. In 2015 the manuscript, which is held by the University of Birmingham, was radiocarbon dated to between 568 and 645 CE (in the Islamic calendar, between 56 BH and 25 AH). It is part of the Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern
manuscripts, held by the university’s Cadbury Research Library. The manuscript is written in ink on parchment, using an Arabic Hijazi
script and is still clearly legible. The leaves preserve parts of Surahs 18 (Al-Kahf) to 20 (Taha). It was on display at the University
of Birmingham in 2015 and then at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
until 5 August 2016. The Cadbury Research Library has carried out multispectral analysis of the manuscript and XRF analysis of the inks!

And now a little girl rewirites and the script is the same a manuscript! She told that the first project he undertook was completed in Six
months without guidance of any professional trainer. ‘This handwritten Quran comprises Nine hundred Pages’!
She added, my family supported me whole heartedly in the procedure. I would like to thank my cousin, Dr. Seerat Wani, who is my inspiration and she was the one who helped me and strengthened my moral compass
because the destination was clear and the needle of the compass did not switch sides. It remained still’! Arbeen at such a young age has spread the message to the humanity
which says , ‘my message to all those  struggling and especially to the youth, in life you will go through many ups and downs and to improve your chances on the path of success, and determination to succeed, along with keeping faith in your abilities, which would enable you to overcome and clear any obstacle life throws at you.’ I think that kid will go many steps up the ladder in future!’
Every story has a beginning and end! This one we will finish with another verse from the Holy Book, ‘ Oh! he it is that cleaveth, (adhere firmly and closely or loyally and unwaveringly) the daybreak: He makes the night for rest and tranquility, and the sun and moon for the reckoning (of time): such is the judgment and ordering of (Him), the Exalted in Power, the Omniscient………  Holy Quran 6:96!
