“Utterly Disdainful”: Sajad Lone Condemns Police Officer Kicking Bereaved Women in Kulgam

Srinagar : JKPC President and MLA Handwara Sajad Lone has strongly condemned the incident in Kulgam where a police officer was seen kicking female relatives of two deceased youths.

“Images of a police officer kicking the female relatives of two youths who died in Kulgam, is utterly disdainful,” Lone stated while adding that “The whole action reeks of contempt within the minds of those who are supposed to protect the masses.”

Lone suggested that such incidents are not isolated, emphasizing, “And this is not a rare occurrence. It is almost a daily occurrence. It is just that it escapes filming.”

He concluded his statement by extending his sympathies to those affected: “My heartfelt condolences to the families and hoping against hope that the third youth is found.”
