BARAMULLA: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nation-wide campaign to spread awareness and ensure the delivery of government flagship schemes, expanded its reach to 20 more Panchayats on thursday in Sub Division Uri of Baramulla District.

Several activities were carried out in 20 Panchayats including Bela, Banali, Dachi, Uroosa and Shadra. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans, featuring LED displays, traversed through these Panchayats, effectively disseminating information about various beneficiary schemes to the public.

Representatives from various government departments engaged with the public and raised awareness about welfare schemes by showcasing products at stalls erected at the venues of the VBSY. Additionally, students and local artists actively participated in skits and other cultural events during the campaign.

During the event, the beneficiaries of different schemes shared their success stories under the banner of ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani’. They vividly narrated how these government schemes have been instrumental in transforming their lives, enabling them to realize their aspirations and dreams.

At these events, local residents availed health care services, including screenings for various ailments and free medicine through various health camps.
