Vigilance Awareness Week 2023: Workshops organised at Kupwara, Handwara

KUPWARA : As part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2023, two workshops were organised at Kupwara and Handwara to raise public awareness about the detrimental effects of corruption.

At Town Hall Kupwara, the mega workshop was presided over by ADC Kupwara, Gh Nabi Bhat.

The ADC  Kupwara while delivering his presidential speech said that corruption remains a significant impediment to the economic, political and social progress of the country.

ASP Kupwara, Farhat Jeelani also spoke on the ocasion.

All the participants pledged to work together to eradicate corruption and oppose all forms of corruption and foster a culture of honesty and integrity. They also pledged to act in public interest and protect rights and interests of stakeholders and the society at large.

Workshop was attended by District Officers and Sectoral officers of different departments of district administration.

Another workshop under Vigilance Awareness week was also organised at  Boys Model Higher Secondary School Handwara, which was presided over by ADC Kupwara Gh. Nabi Bhat.

Principal of the institute, Shahab-din-Peer, staff and students participated in the workshop.9

ADC Kupwara administered the pledge to the participants.
