GANDERBAL : In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS), the Forest Department and the Municipality of Ganderbal joined hands to organize a large-scale awareness rally to highlight the importance of transparency and the fight against corruption.

The rally was organized in collaboration with the District Administration Ganderbal, and aimed to engage the community in taking a stand against unethical practices.
The rally began at the iconic Clock Tower in Duderhama, where participants gathered to spread messages of integrity and accountability.
The rally advanced through the streets toward Fatehpora and concluded at the Public Park in Fatehpora, drawing a strong turnout from the local community and officials.
At the culmination, officials from each department gathered to reaffirm their commitment to ethical practices by taking a pledge against corruption administered by District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Ganderbal.
In a powerful gesture of unity, all participants vowed to uphold the principles of integrity, pledging not to participate in or tolerate bribery in any form and to strictly enforce anti-corruption laws within their jurisdictions.
The event reflects the collective commitment of Ganderbal’s institutions to uphold transparency, fostering a culture of accountability throughout the district.
