Workshop under Cyber Security Awareness held at D.C Office Kupwara

KUPWARA : A Cyber Security Awareness Workshop was successfully conducted by District Administration Kupwara today at D. C Office Complex Kupwara to educate individuals on safeguarding themselves in the digital world. The workshop was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioenr (ADC) Kupwara, Mohd Rouf Rehman.

The event was aimed to raise awareness about cyber threats, data protection, and best practices for online safety. The workshop featured expert speakers, including DIO NIC Kupwara, who discussed crucial topics such as phishing attacks, password security, social engineering, and secure browsing habits. Interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and real-world case studies helped attendees understand and implement cybersecurity measures effectively.
Speaking at the event, ADC Kupwara emphasized the importance of digital hygiene and proactive security measures to prevent cybercrimes. He said Workshops like these help equip people with the knowledge to protect themselves online and urged upon the participants to take utmost benefit of the workshop to upskill their digital awareness which will help them in better data management.
The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where participants clarified their doubts and received practical guidance on securing their personal and professional digital assets. Attendees appreciated the initiative and expressed interest in future sessions on advanced cyber security topics.
