SHOPIAN : With the aim of fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, District Industries Centre (DIC) Shopian today organized a Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) awareness programme at the Government Higher Secondary School, Kaprin.
The session witnessed active participation of around 70 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs representing various sectors including handicrafts, handloom, trade, NRLM self-help groups and EDI-trained individuals.
The event served as a platform to educate participants on the vital role of Udyam Registration in accessing government incentives, financial support and formal recognition for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
A team of senior officials from DIC Shopian addressed the gathering. Through insightful presentations and interactive discussions, they enlightened the audience about the UDYAM registration process, benefits of formalization and key opportunities available under various government schemes.
Programme featured a detailed presentation on Udyam Registration, providing step-by-step guidance on how to register and highlighting the long-term advantages for enterprise growth and sustainability.
The event not only informed but also inspired participants to take proactive steps toward formalizing their ventures.
