The Indian Army provides support to Kashmir through its outreach programmes which operate under Operation Sadbhavana to achieve its most essential mission. The programmes work to create understanding between military personnel and local residents. The Army develops spaces which allow young people to connect with each other while they build their skills in an environment that provides positive reinforcement. The Army runs educational tours to show students different areas of the Nation. The tours help students understand the Country’s various cultures and development processes and its efforts towards National Unity.

Youth Engagement relies heavily on sports activities which serve as its central element. The Army organizes district wide tournaments which feature football and cricket and volleyball and athletics competitions. The events draw large numbers of participants while promoting healthy competition. The young athletes demonstrate their skills in the competition which helps them understand how to work together as a team. Sports serve as an effective method to protect young people from harmful surroundings. Physical activity helps young people build their physical capacity while they build mental toughness through their workout sessions.

The Army uses adventure programmes as a main method to reach out to Youth. The organization conducts trekking expeditions and mountaineering camps and river rafting activities to teach people how to become brave. The programmes force participants to face challenges which help them learn about their personal abilities. The experience of facing challenges in a controlled and safe environment prepares them to handle real life situations with determination.

The Army uses education as its main focus to engage with Young people. The Army established Army Goodwill Schools throughout Kashmir to deliver high quality education services. The institutions use current teaching techniques which focus on complete student growth. The students learn academic material which includes training about discipline and ethical behavior and leadership skills. The establishment of these schools has made education more available in remote areas while increasing educational goals for numerous families in the community.

Career guidance and recruitment awareness also play a crucial role. The Army organizes recruitment rallies and awareness camps to inform youth about opportunities in the armed forces and other sectors. The officers and trained personnel provide students with instruction about Competitive Examinations preparation methods and physical test preparation strategies. The guidance helps users who do not have access to essential information and resources. Armed forces have recruited many young individuals who returned to their families with a sense of pride and stabilizing presence.

The Army uses skill development programmes to enhance its relationship with young people. The Army provides support to vocational training programmes which teach students practical skills including computer literacy and tailoring and carpentry and electrical work. The skills which students learn through this programme help them become more employable while they work toward becoming independent. Young people who gain work skills will experience personal growth because they achieve self sufficient status. The programme helps people stop their involvement in dangerous activities.

The Army handles social issue awareness through its educational outreach programmes. The organization establishes Programmes on drug abuse and health and sanitation and environmental protection by working together with local community members. The youth of the community join these programmes which teach them to become active participants of their social groups. The Programmes encourage people to engage in responsible activities which provide service to their community.

Cultural programmes add another dimension to youth engagement. The Army conducts local festivals which showcase traditional music and artistic performances. The Programmes create a venue for artists to showcase their work while they keep cultural traditions alive. The initiatives help different communities understand each other better while promoting social unity. Young people who take pride in their cultural heritage will establish stronger connections to their personal identity and their community.

The Indian Army achieves its goals through continuous presence which enables soldiers to build trust with local youth who live in their area. Soldiers often build close relationships with local youth. They fulfill their roles as mentors through their dual function as guides and their ability to serve as role models. The human connection between people develops into a bond which creates trust and opens paths for honest dialogue. The young people receive guidance from all people who interact with them which motivates them to develop their lives in positive directions.

The programmes create changes which extend throughout different areas of Kashmir. The youth in the community previously experienced limited options for education and sports and skill training. The initiatives have helped people transform their lives. The people who live in this area transitioned from living in uncertainty to establishing purposeful lives which helped them connect with their community.

The Indian Army actively participates in youth engagement activities throughout Kashmir to create social change. The organization provides hope to people while it helps them create resilience which establishes job possibilities for youths who will build lasting peace and development in their communities.

Pir Panjal Brigade Rampore Boniyar has organised many activities in Boniyar and nearby villages. These include sports events, marathons, cycle races, medical camps, gym centres and vocational training centres.

Indian Army also plays a vital role during emergencies. During fire incidents in Boniyar it responds quickly and supports local people with timely action and rescue efforts.
