Orange is one the loving fruit of Kashmiri people during winters. Most of the fruits are skyrocketing and some are set to disappear during the winters in Kashmir. Fruits and vegetables are getting shortage due to the suspension of National highway which connects Kashmir valley to other states of the country via Jammu. As we are well known about the health benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables but it’s very unfortunate that during the harsh winters we not in a position to grow such on large scale that due to lack of awareness and availability of vegetable seedlings some common vegetables of Kashmir like kale (commonly known as haakh in Kashmir), and other seasonal vegetables. Hope for the best may be in future we will be able to grow whatever we need as per the seasons.

Actually what happens during harsh winters is people take sufficient quantities of red meat, mutton, chicken, fish, cereals etc. which can cause accumulation of fat and cause various health issues? Literally our body needs a balanced diet: briefs as balanced diet: – an adequate amount of diet which fulfils our bodies need. It includes vitamins, fats, minerals, proteins, fibers all of them as per the body requirement. We have to consume varieties of food items that do not depend on very few of them. These days fatty liver is one of the common issues in Kashmir may be throughout the globe. It is a serious issue caused due to intake of excess diet and less exercise. This fatty liver may cause various health hazards like kidney failure, dehydration, upper backache etc. so be careful and be active. Exercising doesn’t mean that you have only to stick around the gym centres. No and never means you have to engage yourself in various tasks at home.

Now today in this article let’s know the amazing facts about the orange one, the citrus and delicious fruit found in warm climates throughout the country. One thing common among the citrus fruits that contain vitamin-c and boost our immunity, good the cholesterol and has great and immense health benefits are as: slows the advance of age related macular degeneration, a leading cause of vision loss. Helps fight cancer causing free radicals. Helps your body make collagen, a protein that heals wounds and gives you smooth skin. Consumption of oranges boosts your immune system. Oranges help in absorption of iron which fight anaemia.

Oranges are the folate for the babies and their lactating mothers. Oranges are a great way to get a big dose of folate naturally. Our body uses it to divide cells and make DNA. Because it helps prevent birth defects. Oranges are rich in calcium, calcium keeps our bones and muscles strong. Contains fiber which is helpful for bowel movement and keeps us relaxed and fresh throughout the day. Good in one nutrient that potassium. Potassium helps to lower the blood pressure. Now in the valley we have a variety of oranges where we can consume them. Those who are getting some stomach issues with them can consult a specialist or avoid them until they get well.
