The world’s leading experts in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) are set to gather for the 2023 APCAM (Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation) International ADR Summit, an annual flagship conference of the APCAM, taking place in New Delhi from May 6 to 7 in LE MERIDIEN. The theme for this year’s summit is “Unleashing the Dispute Resolution System for Mending Global Economy”. All the APCAM “Centres” from India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, and Nepal organise the annual flagship meeting known as the APCAM Summit. This Summit is organised by Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation under the leadership of its President Mr. Anil Xavier who is also the chair of APCAM and Director Iram Majid who is also the Executive director of APCAM. The two-day Summit will feature keynote speeches and discussions on a wide range of topics related to ADR, including arbitration, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution. APCAM summit brings together top industry experts, thought leaders and professionals from around the globe to share insights and strategies for resolving disputes effectively and efficiently. The speakers include some of the most prominent International names in the field of ADR, including leading academics, practitioners, policymakers, and esteemed judges of the Supreme Court of India as well as the judges of the Delhi High Court.
The judge’s panel includes Hon’ble Mr. Justice Neil Mckerracher KC (former judge, federal court of Australia) Justice P.S.Narasimha, Justice B.V. Nagarathna, Justice MB Lokur, Justice Ravindra Bhat, Justice Yashwant Varma, Justice Rajiv Shakdher and many other honorable judges. Their benign presence will add immense value to the event. This panel will be speaking on a range of topics, including emerging trends in the field of arbitration, best practices for successful project management, and strategies for effective decision-making.
Mr. Sundra Rajoo, currently serving as the director of the Asian International Arbitration Centre, will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of International Arbitration. Ms. Nadja Alexander, director of the Singapore Institute of Dispute Resolution Academy, Mr. CHOI, Jae Seog, President of the Korean Society of Mediation Studies, and many other international experts will be speaking at the Summit.
