Our world is a beautiful place and a big one, it has developed so much in the last two centuries that it has grown unrecognizable to the people who lived here before those two centuries. The industrial revolution started this crazy pace  of development and we’ve not looked back since. The life of an average human being before the industrial revolution was vastly different to what it is today and during this period we have got core values mixed up with everything that has come up along the way  with us. We have forgotten the values and practices that have kept our civilization together till now. We are abandoning these moral values and practices like they are  nothing nowadays. It is only because of them we have survived, thrived and not gone extinct like so many other species that are.

As the world continues to grow, expand, develop and invent. We must take a step back, take a deep breath and reflect on the decisions we have taken in the past and the decisions we need to take in the future both as a society and individuals. If we don’t then The Almighty have mercy upon us. The things that our Prophet (PUBH) prohibited us from doing ever have become common in today’s day and age. We lie, steal, take bribes, give bribes, exploit each other and so on. It may seem like the acts that I have talked about are not that big acts of crime but the consequences of allowing or committing these little insignificant acts of crime is that we are nurturing a society that is greedy, corrupt, dishonest, selfish, and a society which is not and ideal place to live in.
I may have  made it sound like it is very bad, which it is but there is hope at the end. We have to leave this world better off than we found it because if we don’t things are not looking good for future generations and we owe our future generations a great debt. The least we can do is to turn the ship around in the right direction. We can start by becoming better ourselves and raising children that are better than us. It’s about being 1%  better everyday as a human, student, employee, telling the truth, being honest, doing our job hundred percent being kind. In the long run these things do count.
To everyone who has read up until this point. I urge you to at least try, at the least try even once being kind and honest and you never know where that can lead you.
