Stress levels among all age groups are increasing with each passing day in our country. India is the second-largest country in the world in terms of its population, which is more than 140 crore. One thing is very clear: the country is heading towards development in all fields, like science and technology, women’s empowerment, and providing employment to educated youth. At the same time, it is very unfortunate that we are decreasing agricultural land. With the hike in population, the demands are increasing, like vegetable demand, fruit demand, and other essential items like cereals, pulses, spices, rice, and wheat. Concerned authorities have to take the issue very seriously and provide some alternative ways for the public to fulfil their demands in the country.
Today I am going to let you learn about the health benefits of curd. Curd is one of our favourite foodstuffs and is used worldwide due to its great health benefits. During the summer, most people used to drink curd with meals; some had it with bread or parathas. Curd keeps us hydrated and has immense health benefits.
Today, we are noticing that young people have stomach issues; intestinal infections are one of the concerning problems we are having among our youth. All such problems are occurring due to unhygienic, nutrient-poor junk food items. IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is one of the most concerning problems among all age groups. This problem arises due to our bad food habits, like skipping mid-day meals, drinking cold drinks on an empty stomach, smoking, etc.
Those who are suffering from IBS. Should they never avoid mid-day meals if they have some issues or are not having lunch with them at their jobs, it is best to have a few glasses of curd with ample water content with common Kashmir bread.
Suggestion: Take balanced, hygienic, and properly cooked food. Junk food is never a good option because health is wealth. Junk can increase our weight and trigger some other diseases, like IBS. Take plenty of liquid, keep hydrated, and eat fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
