In our daily life, every human being lives with planetary science. There is a misconception in the society or in our education sector that this subject is only a subject for girls/women while it is a very important subject for men as well. Perhaps due to this misconception, students of schools, colleges and universities rarely choose home science and boys do not choose this subject at all. It has to be said that home science plays an important role in living the daily life of every person in the best way. Nowadays, by dominating the market, we are fulfilling the basic needs by spending capital in the market. We do not produce everything related to health, food, drink, clothing, living and use at home because we do not have the skills to make, maintain and produce household items.
In ancient times, our forefathers used to fulfill not only the kitchen needs at home but also very beautiful, intricate and heirloom items by weaving them on the khadis or by hand to fulfill the traditions of the household, marriages and marriages, with which A lot of capital would be saved was Home science is a skill-building subject that we no longer embrace. Textile Science If a person is trained in Home Science, then many clothes, designs of goods do not have to be bought from the market and can be prepared at home. Through this part of home science we get professional expertise in proper quality identification of clothes, dry cleaning, drawing, printing, computer designing etc. This skill used to be passed down from generation to generation by the woman of every house. In today’s era, if every woman in the family has this skill, lakhs of rupees can be saved annually. Family resource management Home science also enables us to know how to maintain houses at our level with less resources, less capital, energy saving and production, maintenance of electrical goods, interior and exterior design of houses, garden design, maintenance of furniture, cleaning, how to maintain family, children and elderly.
How many people do we usually take help of to manage all this?Let’s see how much capital we spend annually. Communication management There is a great lack of knowledge of logic and science in our society. Due to this deficiency, we are stuck in many misconceptions, assumptions and false examples. It is a social need that every human being should think according to logic, science and laws of nature. This subject teaches every human being to think, understand and explain logically. We usually say that what we read in books is not applicable. This subject enables you to know how to use the relevant information obtained from the books. It has to be applied outside the walls of the classroom in our homes and society. Psychology and family studies It is very important for a person to have self-control, internal logic and understanding. Therefore, this subject teaches us to reflect, understand etc. on different stages of human life. If every human being is a doctor and counselor of his own mind, then he does not need psychologists, nor does he need to consult anyone. Mental weakness is the root of many diseases and mental health is the solution to many problems. This topic is not only about mental diseases It not only teaches to understand or solve but also makes every person a doctor.
If every person understands this subject for the development of himself and his family, how healthy we can live and how much capital we can save. Should be taught as a compulsory subject while this subject saves our precious money on a large scale, it also keeps our body and mind healthy. Then why have we forgotten this topic? It is a great social reformer, intellectual, skill building and economy strengthening subject. So should this topic. It should be taught as a compulsory subject from school education to higher education. Come on! Let’s save valuable capital by adopting home economics, avoid unnecessary buying and selling in the market, develop skills and make ourselves better human beings. Nowadays, many companies are selling products with beautiful packaging under the guise of nutrition. People have also accepted nutrition as a basic need, so why not produce nutritious things at home. All equipment used in the kitchen through home science skills etc. Let’s produce, learn processing, by which our capital will be saved and also we can earn money/capital by producing/processing/packing products due to skill.
