It is an occasion to remember the valiant freedom fighters whose courage and sacrifice brought us freedom.Obviously remembering these unsung heroes makes the day memorable, mesmerizing and unforgettable. Every year we celebrate the 15th August, an independence day, paying the rich tributes to those freedom fighters who sacrificed their precious life for peace, harmony, unity and integrity and get our motherland free from British rule.
15th August is commended as a public celebration with flag hoisting, march parades, social works etc. Schools, colleges, Universities, private institutions, Madrases, celebrate this day beautifully. This day also marked the end of 200 years of old British reign in India. We now breathe air in a free and sovereign nation. Under the British regime and colonisation life of every citizen was dismal and full of struggle. Indian citizens were treated as slaves and had no freedom of speech. They were tortured, dragged and abused on many occasions. Indian fighters were dealt with cruelty in British camps and farmers were starving as they weren’t allowed to grow crops.
Unparalleled contributions of great men and women to achieve the independence of india. India is celebrating 76 years of freedom on 15th August 2023 as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This day marks the end of colonial rule. On this auspicious occasions exemplary activities are being performed to pay rich homage to freedom fighters.The unique celebration is seen at High School Dever where huge public came to entertain the beautiful programs and speeches throwing light on role of freedom fighters in strengthening the Nationalism.There were great enthusiasm We feel very much pleased to be the part of biggest democratic country in the world.
The day is observed with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor across the country. The main event of the independence day is the flag hoisting ceremony. The flag is the symbol of India’s Sovereignty and unity. It is a proud moment for everyone as we approach another independence day on 15th August. This day reminds us of the bloodshed and sacrifices made by the freedom fighters to win independence. The people of India are thankful to those who fight for the independence of the country.
Looking at the unsung heroes, the freedom we possess was not only possible but behind this liberation is the battle of our freedom fighters Who sacrificed their own lives for india. Notably the prominent freedom fighters are Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Chander Shakir Azad, Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi, Mangal Pandy, sardar villabhaie patel, Bal Gangadar Tilak etc.Today india is country with brimming with potential surging ahead the on the path of development. While the exemplary contribution of men, women also took part in the freedom struggle to break the chains of imperialism. They valiantly fought with weapons and other instruments to ravage colonial rule. Notable among them was Begum Hazarat Mahal and others.
The School Education Department (SED) has already issued the calendar for all government schools “Meri Mati Mera Desh” under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The Theme for this year’s celebration is Nation First, Always First. Independence day holds immense importance for all citizens, igniting a sense of patriotism and national pride. Some unique programs were held at BHS Diver in which a large gathering of people including Sarpanchs, panches, ward members etc were present on the occasion. It is through these activities that the spirit of patriotism can be inculcated and the stories of India’s struggle for independence will be remembered and revered and passed forward to generations.some beautiful cultural programs were also held at School. The joy and happiness were reflected on the faces of every citizen who participated in the celebration.
Many freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Baghat Singh, Jawaharlal Nehru and many more fought for independence and laid down their precious lives. We need to remember these fighters and honour them. We thank those men and women who didn’t bother about their happiness but instead thought of the honour of their mother country. Keeping in view of 15th August stadiums, playgrounds etc have been bedecked with colourful directions, arrows, balloons etc for the general public and employees are patiently waiting for this auspicious occasion. School going children wearing beautiful jerseys to commemorate with gaiety and fervor. On the podiums the speakers are highlighting the essence, role and sacrifices of our valiant leaders who tirelessly worked to defeat British Colonialism. If freedom fighters had not infused the Nationalism among the Indian masses then it would not have been possible to smell the fragrance of freedom. That is why it becomes obligatory for every knowledgeable person to disseminate the role of freedom fighters during the commemoration. Such freedom fighters will never be forgotten, yet they are alive in millions of hearts till the world sustains. I pay my deepest homage to all freedom fighters on this very auspicious occasion.
