Glorify to be Allah Almighty for his mercy and ceaselessly bounties. Human beings are entitled as special creatures for their dexterity of reasoning, cognition and kindness. Human beings search for knowledge starting from the sum up of humans living on earth .Allah kept everything in the germ and forces us with highest cognition to unearth the hidden.

The current modern age of cybernetic communication and technological acme is also the result of human research for knowledge and curiosity. The utmost strongest source of knowledge out sending is the books .The earlier records of human progress in various aspects are usually palpable in the form of books.

Cybernetic communication in the present age leads humans to record everything in the fresh form .The publicity of books has not diminished but tripled over the years but the trend of book reading has significantly gone down. The blessings of science brought a metamorphic change in human life on one side but simultaneously, it resulted in the complication in human life.

People have found sophisticated means of communication but unexpectedly it resulted in a lack of human interaction. The kind nature, love and humanism has gone down.

When the internet was in its infancy, the students used to go through the libraries of schools, colleges etc even if they were not possessing authentic materials related to different fields. But unfortunately nowadays despite all the wisdom of reading, we are having an unpersuaded mass of students for reading .

As per reports it is estimated than an average American reads at least 14 books in a year but the figure is very ghastly in our valley called KASHMIR .Here usually places like playgrounds, panchayats, unnecessary and ineffective debates going at ‘VANN THADS ‘ bla bla bla are highly swamped except book houses.

Until or unless people will not read much ,they even cannot write much .Furthermore the excellence of write ups for different publications taken is disheartening .I think its need of an hour to motivate our budding blooms and grownups for reading .Undoubtedly the authentic books ,magazines, research papers ,the essay competitions ,debates and discussions on a number of themes are presented everywhere .All this is to turn our youth to book reading .Book reading provides an inner gratification .It gives self-assurance ,boldness and accomplishment. The trend of book reading needs to be rejuvenated.

The national literacy trust has noticed that becoming a lifetime reader is based on developing a deep love of reading .It is said if students do not enjoy reading when they are young, then they are unlikely to do so when they get older. I think for younger readers in particular, their home environment is critically important.

In my opinion, supportive and understanding parents are key to developing their child’s reading. Relaxed atmosphere and a positive ethos around reading is really significant.

We need to take creative steps to motivate our students to read. In this pandemic where on one side we are facing grausam gibbets, the internet is just a name in our Kashmir valley but on the other side it pushes us back to book reading.

In my opinion, generally Novel reading and historical event related books are the best. The benefits of it is first we develop a literal taste and general vocabulary. Second thing is we also come to know about historical events which are good for all knowledge and general personality development. This is for all whatever field we may belong to. Once you are into it the taste develops gradually.
