VBSY witnesses massive turnout of people in Kupwara district

KUPWARA : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is witnessing a massive turnout of people in frontier Kupwara district making a transformative impact.

More than 93, 532 people have participated in the programme which was kick started in the district on Nov 21.

9 Panchayats of Block Kralpora of Kupwara district were covered today under VBSY which included Aloosa, Batpora A, Batpora B, Kralpora A, Kralpora B, Kralpora C, Dardepora-D, Dardepora E and Dardsun A.

With this, 241 Panchayats, out of total 385 Panchayats of the district have been covered till date under VBSY.

All Panchayats where VBSY was organized today presented a festive look with huge crowds thronging the venues of VBSY for instant enrollment in Government Schemes.

From Free Medical Checkups to Zero-Balance Bank Accounts, Aadhar Updates and ABHA IDs, beneficiaries of all ages are taking instant benefits. Local beneficiaries, progressive farmers and successful entrepreneurs shared their positive experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’.

As part of the campaign, the IEC vans reached different Panchayats today amid a warm welcome by the Officers, PRIs and people. These Vans conveyed the message of the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

The people took the pledge and expressed their commitment for the cause.

Representatives of the line departments also presented their stalls and showcased schemes run by the government for the public welfare. They also distributed pamphlets and brochures to the people.
