Srinagar : In a significant humanitarian intervention, the All JK Youth Society, in collaboration with Sharp Eye Hospital, Barzulla Srinagar, has successfully carried out a series of free eye surgeries for underprivileged patients. A total of 10 patients from remote area of Karnah, Kupwara received timely medical treatment, with each surgery completed safely and with excellent outcomes.
This initiative underscores the Society’s ongoing commitment to strengthening accessible and affordable healthcare for marginalized communities living in remote and underserved regions.
The All JK Youth Society expresses profound gratitude to the expert team of doctors, compassionate healthcare staff, and the management of Sharp Eye Hospital. Their professionalism, dedication, and humane approach have restored hope and dignity to patients who had long awaited proper medical care.
As part of the outreach program, free transportation was arranged for all patients from Karnah to Srinagar and back, ensuring that no individual faced logistical or financial barriers in availing treatment.
Earlier, under the leadership of Bilal Chouhan, a free medical camp was organized at BHS Tangdar, Karnah, in support of District Administration Kupwara where patients were examined and later referred to Srinagar for surgery under the Golden Card (Ayushman Bharat) health scheme. This seamless coordination enabled deserving patients to receive world-class treatment without any cost.
This collaborative effort stands as a shining testament to what community driven initiatives can achieve when compassion, commitment, and effective teamwork come together for public welfare.
