Army holds G-20  Workshop on India’s  role in Shaping the world at Kuligam Lolab

  “One Earth, One Family, One Future.”

Indian Army  has always been the frontrunner in shaping up the future of Kashmir and to engage Youth, PRIs and Students towards constructive and positive activities. In continuation of these efforts a Workshop cum Lecture was held for PRIs including BDC Mrs. Nagina Begum on the topic G20 : India’s Role in Shaping the World on 05 March 2023 at Kuligam village of Lolab Valley in Kupwara District.

The workshop cum lecture was instrumental in making the PRIs and stakeholders understand how the forum represents around 85% of global GDP and two thirds of population worldwide and the objective of expanding Kashmir in terms of trade, tourism, climate change, sustainable development, health, agriculture, energy, environmental conservation. The lecture helped in bringing out the importance of G20 and also in making people understand the dynamics of G20 Summit as well as its relation and relevance to the Union Territory of Kashmir. The lecture was taken by various speakers from different NGOs who brought home the idea of India’s Role in shaping the world as part of its G20 Presidency for the year 2023. Experts Mr Mehraj Bhat from Diplmacy Next and Researcher and  Dar Javaid explained how India has taken global stage and is in process of shaping the world.

The event which was organised by 28RR,   started with the National Anthem followed by commencement of the lecture. A total of 213 students, youth and PRIs actively participated in the event. The event saw the participation of various School Principals, Government Servants and Security Forces representatives from JKP , BSF and CRPF. The event was also attended by BDC Wavoora Block Mohammed Rafiq Katariya and BDC Sogam Block Mrs. Nagina Begum.
