B2V-5: Massive public participation witnessed across Baramulla

Mega event held at Uri; people flagged-off their developmental aspirations

BARAMULLA : On the third day of ongoing Back to Village (B2V5-) programme, the Visiting/ Prabhari Officers continued their visit to designated panchayats across Baramulla district, interacting with the public besides addressing the core issues of public importance.

Addressing the core issues of people at their doorsteps besides undertaking review of previous and current year developmental works, the Additional  District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf in presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jitin Kishore  inaugurated a mega event at Uri wherein a massive participation of enthusiastic people, PRI members and other stakeholders was witnessed, highlighting their aspirations.

During the programme, a variety of stalls were installed by concerned departments to showcase the flagship schemes and other services being provided by them for the convenience of the people.

The ADDC assured that all the issues and developmental aspirations put forth by the people will be addressed in a time bound manner and  asserted that other higher demands beyond the control of district administration will be forwarded to the higher authorities. He reiterated his commitment of covering all left-out beneficiaries during the ongoing ambitious programme.

Meanwhile, various Panchayats/ blocks including Mirgund, Delina, Sangrama, Kunzer, Pattan, Kreeri, and Tangmarg were covered today by the respective visiting officers.

During the Programme, the visiting officers held scores of Gram Sabhas and informed people about the centrally sponsored and state-run schemes for the welfare of the general public.
