Srinagar : J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, accompanied by General Secretary Anwar Khan, today addressed separate meetings of ST Morcha and Minority Morcha office bearers and district presidents at the BJP Office, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. The meetings focused on reviewing organizational functioning, strengthening Morcha-level coordination, and preparing the party cadre for upcoming political and social challenges in the region.
J&K BJP Secretary Mudassir Wani, Media Incharge Kashmir Sajid Yousuf Shah, All Cells Co-Convenor Bilal Parray, and other senior leaders and Morcha functionaries were present on the occasion.
Addressing the meetings, Ashok Koul underscored that Morchas are vital instruments for ensuring inclusive political participation and social empowerment. He said that the ST Morcha and Minority Morcha have a special responsibility to bridge the gap between the party and diverse sections of society by understanding local aspirations and addressing genuine concerns at the grassroots level. Koul emphasized that BJP’s commitment to sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, and sabka prayas must be reflected through sustained engagement, issue-based advocacy, and constructive dialogue with communities across Kashmir.
He further stressed the need for Morcha leaders to act as effective communicators of the party’s vision, policies, and developmental agenda, while also providing timely feedback from the ground to the party leadership. Koul called upon the Morchas to work in close coordination with district units to strengthen booth-level structures and ensure organizational readiness.
Speaking on the occasion, Anwar Khan highlighted that disciplined organization and proactive leadership at the Morcha level are essential for the party’s long-term growth. He said that Morchas must focus on capacity building of their office bearers, regular interaction with the public, and highlighting BJP’s consistent efforts towards peace, development, and social justice in Jammu & Kashmir. He added that unity of purpose and clarity of approach would further consolidate BJP’s position among all sections of society.
