Baramulla: The Save Youth Save Future Foundation organized the grand programme DARDNAMA : A Chronicle of Pain, Truth, and Human Resilience at Dak Banglow, Baramulla, with the participation of around 400 families from across North Kashmir. The event provided a dignified and inclusive platform for victims of terrorism to share their experiences, many of whom have remained unheard for over three decades.

The programme specifically focused on families affected during the past thirty years whose cases were neither documented nor addressed in a systematic manner. The interaction aimed to acknowledge their suffering, restore dignity, and bring long-pending grievances into the public and administrative domain.

On the occasion, the victim-centric and humanitarian initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Mr. Manoj Sinha were acknowledged and appreciated, particularly those related to rehabilitation, relief measures, and employment support for families affected by terrorism.

The programme was chaired by the Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, who, in his address, highlighted the prolonged suffering, sacrifices, and resilience of genuine victims of terrorism. He emphasized that for the last three decades, a large number of affected families remained voiceless and invisible despite enduring irreparable loss.

Senior office bearers of the Foundation, including Vice Chairman Mr. Mir Arif and General Secretary Mr. Sajad Hassan Mir, were present. The programme was also attended by State Coordinators Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Mir and Mr. Maqbool Ahmed Khan, District Coordinators Mr. Jasib Shabir and Mr. Moun Ul Hameed, along with other members of the organization.

The proceedings were conducted by Mr. Zia Ul Islam, who ensured smooth coordination of the programme and facilitated respectful and structured interaction between the victims and representatives of the Foundation.

During the interaction session, participants shared personal accounts of loss, trauma, and resilience spanning the last three decades. The Foundation documented details of pending cases, disabled victims, widows, orphans, and other genuine cases that have not yet received due assistance. The collected data will be pursued with the concerned authorities in a structured, transparent, and responsible manner.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat added that the recent victim-focused measures under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha have instilled renewed confidence among affected families, particularly those who were neglected for decades, with several long-pending cases now receiving attention and support.

The programme concluded with a collective commitment to sustained ground-level engagement, systematic documentation, and advocacy to ensure that the real victims of terrorism, especially those unheard for over thirty years are recognized, supported, and rehabilitated with dignity.
