BANDIPORA : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today chaired an introductory meeting with female employees of the district at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora, marking a significant step towards inclusive and gender-responsive governance.
During the interaction, DC engaged with all the female participants, listened attentively to their concerns, and assured them of the administration’s full support in addressing genuine issues affecting their work environment.
Emphasizing the need to create a more enabling workplace, DC directed the concerned officers to ensure proper sanitation facilities, including the provision of separate washrooms for female staff, and a dedicated prayer hall for women.
On the occasion, Indu Kanwal Chib also laid stress on ensuring safe and reliable transport facilities for all employees commuting from various parts of the district.
