DC Budgam reviews digitization of revenue records; provision of services as per PSGA timeline

Directs Tehsildars to ensure timely service delivery

BUDGAM : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Revenue services across all tehsils of the district.
The meeting was held at the DC Office Complex, Budgam, and attended by ACR Budgam ,all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), all Tehsildars, and other Revenue officials.
The DC reviewed the progress made under complete digitization of revenue records of the district to enhance transparency and efficiency in land records management.
He also conducted Tehsil wise review of the disposal of revenue services as per PSGA timelines to ensure timely provision of revenue services to the citizens.
The DC also reviewed the status of work on the new infrastructure projects of revenue offices i.e. construction of Tehsil Office BK Pora and Niabats of Nagam, Soibugh, Kachwari & additional block at NT Office, Pakherpora.
He directed the concerned officers to maintain close coordination with executing agencies to ensure timely completion of these projects.
The DC reiterated the importance of responsive governance and emphasized that Revenue officials must remain proactive in addressing public grievances .
He directs for timely redressal of grievances of the public .
He further stressed on regular monitoring and imposing penalties against those failing to provide revenue services within the timeline to uphold the standards of service delivery.
