The campaign, themed “Let’s Make Kupwara Drug Free”, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, civil society members, municipal officials, and youth volunteers. The initiative, supported by the Municipal Committee Langate, aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and mobilize collective efforts for a drug-free society.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of early education, community involvement, and strong family support in preventing drug addiction, particularly among youth. They also highlighted the Government of India’s commitment to eradicating the drug menace through multi-pronged strategies, awareness drives, and rehabilitation support.
